Team of the Week: 10th September
Another season and another chance to highlight some of the standout performers from Merton's three teams.

Ethon Minchin - Top display from the Merton 1sts goalkeeper. Including a brilliant Schmeichel-esque (the original) save from a one-on-one.
Tom Pye - Keeping the left winger very, very quiet, Tom had a cracking competitive debut at right back for the twos.
Nick Ball - Man of the Match performance from the big man from Bury. Threw everything he had at it and formed an effective partnership at centre-half with Aron. Highlight of the game was an acrobatic clearance where a TFT goal seemed a certainty.
Aron Jackson - Titanic defending from this man. Dealt well with the pacey and tricky TFT striker. Strong and assured as ever. Unlucky to concede two goals as part of the impressive unit in TOTW, with Ethon and Bally.
Terry Denness - Outstanding performance from big tel, who marshaled the back four superbly throughout the game
Jack Dowell - won his first ever duel to get the assist for our equaliser and had a solid game filling in out wide after a poor turn out from the regular 'wingers'.
Alastair - making his first and last appearance this season (moving to Liberia), had a solid game in midfield, always looking to build up play rather than punt it long as TK always instructs.
Dom Hague - Brilliant as ever in the heart of the Merton midfield. Scored a screamer of a goal from all of three yards with his arse - but hey, they all count.
Andrew Findlater - A great combative debut for Merton's newest recruit, helping himself to a great goal in the process.
Tom Leach - off the mark with his first of the season; only misses the easy ones does Leachy.
Josh Tovey - A goal, an assist and the first coveted Man of the Match award of the season.
