Team of the Week: 5th November

Tommy P - quiet game for most part, but one absolutely crucial save from a scissor kick to keep scores level in second half.

JD - 4 points and a clean sheet in the 2 games skipper JD has moved to CB, not sure who ever told him he was a midfielder.

Reverand Lovejoy/day - there to mop up were JD ever beaten, probably should have buried a header in first half but a faultless defensive display.

Broughy - Recovered from an injured chin in the week to marshall the back four. Much more solid display from the back four, in no small part due to the Return of the Chin.

Al - Accomplished performance ended in him being roared on by the home faithful to get his first goal for the 1s. It wasn't to be but a great game nonetheless.

Danny - Skipper switched to the right wing for the day to allow Bruiser to accompany Moulsey further forward. Adjusted to the task expertly and capped his day with a goal.

Harry - Ruthless brace against a tired ACTS side. Took his goals really well a gorgeous volley and a looping header off his "50p head"

Oly - another MOM contender; winning everything in the air and putting himself about tirelessly in midfield - absolute work horse.

Sam - needed one more and bloody good to have him back in the squad!

Bruiser - Settling into his new striking berth with a cool hatrick. Then slotted into midfield for the last 30 and bossed it from there.

Moulsey - Explosive performance from Moulsey, supplying 4 assists, very very effective.
