Team of the Week: 14th January
Tommy P - saved a pen to take the game to ET, on top of several excellent saves. Man of the Match once again for 3's.
Stu - first game of the season for Stu, had a stormer at CB alongside Zol and should be snapped up full time in the summer.
Aron - Quite simply the second best goal the 1s scored. Sumptuous dipping volley from miles out. Clearly riled by those who questioned his goalscoring prowess in the week.
Hall - Commanding at the back, didn’t deserve to be on the losing side
JD - only player to bury his pen in the shootout.
Quinno - Very good performance from KQ, back in his best position in behind the strikers. One assist, influential throughout.
Morty – Ran around like a bell-end
Webber – Worked his little knackers off and ran around like an equal bell-end
Moulsey - Seemingly annoyed Jackson had made an early grab for the headlines with a wonder goal, Moulsey set about pinging shots off from distance, the first too hot to handle and followed up by Jox for our second before an absolute belter from 30 yards that would probably still be rising if the net hadn't stopped it.
Jox - Up front with Moulsey for maximum potency and the Doc delivered. Excellent on the ball, running channels and grabbing a deserved goal.
Louis – great finish for his goal and good all-round battling performance
